Carmelo Anthony and Lala Vasquez originally met in 2003. They remained friends for a month before pursuing more. Ever since, they continue a strong relationship. Many see them as one of the hottest couples that were made for each other.
If you were to ask LaLa, she would tell you that Carmelo had been asking about her. DJ Clue was a mutual friend between the two, which Melo continued asking him about her. Finally, after some time, he saw her inside of a club and introduced himself. From there, it’s been a love story in the making.
They did not wait long before becoming engaged the following year on Christmas day. A little less than two years later in 2006, they found out they would be having their first child together. In 2007, Kiyan their baby boy comes into their lives on March 7th.
Melo’s 25 and Lala 30, so they are five years apart in age and their son is two years old. Lala has a career as a TV personality and continues to various work related. Melo, continues playing with the Denver Nuggets, who he has been with since 2003.
When Carmelo Anthony and Lala will marry, remains unknown. They seem to want to wait and do not see having a child as a reason to marry. For close to 7 years since they first started going out, they have been together now.
Throughout their relationship, they have continued to stay by each others side. At one point, claims were that Lala ditched Melo when he was jail, but Lala was quick to fix the accusations. Just recently, Lala was removed from one of Melo’s games for her behavior towards fans claimed as unruly. At this point, Carmelo Anthony and Lala have not set a date for marriage and maybe will at some point.
